This is how I mark and cut out circles using string on the 29 gauge galvalume corrugated roofing panels I used for my mobile home roof over, This works well for low roof pitches, The holes will become more elliptical as the roof pitch increases so trimming the holes to fit might be necessary. I used left and strait cutting aviation shears or tin snips.
