Muslim scientists and inventors, including Arabs, Persians, and Turks, were probably hundreds of years ahead of their counterparts in the European Middle Ages. They were motivated by many Quranic verses talking about science. Muslims have made countless discoveries and written countless books on medicine, surgery, physics, chemistry, philosophy, astrology, geometry and various other fields. In this short video we present some of them, as well as their contributions to science.

وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطِى مُسْتَقِيمًۭا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
Indeed, that is My Path—perfectly straight. So follow it and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from Allah's Way. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be conscious ˹of Allah˺.” (Quran 6:153)
