Why do you need Beadlock Wheels? Tech Tip Tuesday with Mac Fab Bead Lock Owner Tommy Kirk

Double Beadlock wheels seem excessive to the weekend warrior. For most of us we think of beadlocks as expensive and overkill. I was first introduced to their importance years ago when I watched a screwed tire rip to shreds on Chris Tuten's wild Turbocharged Mustang.

While at Lights Out 11 last weekend we caught up with Mac Fab Beadlocks owner Tommy Kirk to get some more in depth knowledge about beadlocks. A double beadlock is not only a convenience piece when drag racing, but is also a matter of safety. Tire spin on the wheel, screws, and dismounting can be downright dangerous. But don't take it from us, listen to the pro.
