The first educational spot on road safety made all by artificial intelligence was created in Poland.
Artificial intelligence and its role in road safety - here the technology has been used for many years, mainly to help drivers safely maneuver vehicles, infrastructure. Now this area has been expanded to include education - the world's first preventive material in the field of road safety created entirely by AI. We are at the initial stage of using intelligent digital solutions in the world of road safety prevention and education. We can argue whether we like artificial intelligence or not – it is a matter of taste. But we also have to accept the fact that this future is already here. It is up to us whether we will deny its existence and criticize it, or decide to open up to new challenges and technologies and consider how to approach these tools in an open but also cautious manner, using them for a good purpose – changing attitudes and habits, promoting safe behaviors. Ahead of us are new opportunities and benefits from its use, but also tasks, challenges and work to use new tools in a safe, conscious and responsible way so that they bring not harm but benefit. In this case, the goal is to use technology and innovations in its use, to draw attention to road safety, respecting road traffic regulations and rules. New times sometimes require new solutions, but also searches for reaching the largest possible audience through new channels. Such material will not replace systemic comprehensive education in road traffic, but it can be a small supplement and draw attention to what is important in road traffic - respect, partnership on the road, risk awareness and awareness of consequences of road crashes. The material was prepared in cooperation between the Małopolska Voivodeship Road Safety Council, the Road Safety Initiatives Centre Foundation and the Promo Design Academy from Kraków.
