"We saw what happened during covid. It was the TN Govt that protected the migrant workers who were working here. We saw the plight they had to go through when they went back to their natives. They walked for hundreds of miles carrying their children on their shoulders. It's evident who was harassing them and who was being irresponsible. The politics of BJP has always been divisive. Earlier they used to create divisions based on religion. Now they've graduated and they are creating divisions among States. That's very sad. He's the PM of the country. He's not a campaign leader. There are many people from UP, Bihar and other states who've come to Tamil Nadu to work and are very happy. The PM should maybe have a word with them before creating an election narrative. They are only worried about one person. The Guv RN Ravi who has been struggling to carry out his politics here. Maybe the PM is worried about him. The DMK and Congress are alliance partners. It's natural for CM MK Stalin to join Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi to join the voter adhikar yatra. When the PM comes to TN, will he push away all of his alliance partners? I don't think so. The contribution of the guest workers is valued in TN. Our state has traditionally always welcomed people. The guest workers are happy here. In Bihar, the voting rights of minorities, women and oppressed communities were taken away not in tens but thousands and lakhs. It concerns all of us. Now the SIR is going to take place in TN. The timing is suspicious.. Why do they have to strategically put it just before elections? They had all the time. They could have done it way before or after the elections. They are saying it is to cleanse the voters list. Are they cleansing away those who won't vote for them? We of course want a strong opposition. That's what is good for democracy. Even a united, strong AIADMK is not a threat to DMK. But we want a strong opposition. EPS is calling expelled AIADMK leaders as the B team of DMK.
