Raglan Road and Be Thou My Vision - performed on a tiny celtic harp

Here's just a short taste of my Celtic Harp Concert in Mountain City, Tennessee.

The song "Raglan Road" is about a love lost and has that mournful sound. Did you know that often sad songs will have a healing frequency - to help you through a time or provide a balm to your spirit.

Be Thou my Vision is an 8th Century Hymn, the name of the original melody being "Slane."
My favorite verse is as follows:
"Be thou my Wisdom, and thou my true Word;
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one."

This is my newest addition to my harp family. :) Her name is Elise. ;) She has 22 strings, levers, and a truly rich sound-especially for such a small instrument.

As for the concert, it was a charming atmosphere - wish you could have been there to experience it! The cell phone going off during the music was mine. Of course! I turn mine off when I attend other ppl's performances; just not my own! : D
