Sharm El-Sheikh Excursions. Why didn't they tell us this

Sharm El-Sheikh is an amazing holiday destination with lots of exciting excursions. But tour operators don't tell you that White Island is really a sand bank under half a meter of water. Or you are going Quad biking with hundreds of other people. They don't tell you that every boat trip starts with a 1 - 2 hour wait at the harbour. They don.t tell you that there could be 50 - 60 boats and thousands of tourist on the reefs in Ras Mohammed National Park. Or if you go outside of your hotel you can get a cheap taxi to the Old Town to see Al Sahaba Mosque, the spice markets or Farsha Mountain bar.

Watch this video, know what to expect then you won't be disappointed. I took my 12 year old son on a few of the excursions available. Ras Mohammed was like human soup. there were more tourists than fish. By far the best was Tiran Island, less tourists more sea life and stunning coral reefs.
