US President Biden’s historic visit to Ireland 🇮🇪 | twin travel vlog

Hi guys! OKKO twins here :)

We spontaneously took a trip to Ballina, Ireland to visit and hear US President Biden address the public outside St Muredach’s cathedral. This was his first visit to the country as President.

Why this small town? Ballina is a small town in County Mayo where President Biden traced his great great great grandfather’s roots before he immigrated to Scranton Pennsylvania.

The crowd was enormous! There were 27,000 people from across Ireland and abroad. We queued for 2 hours and had to pass though airport-style security run by the secret service.

There were three bands that performed for the crowd: The academics, The Caronas, and The Chieftains. Plus special appearances made by former Irish President Mary Robinson and the Mayor of Mayo.

Honestly, it was a really wholesome event 😊 Irish men ad women are proud to be Irish - from surviving and enduring times of hunger/famine to leaving Ireland for a better future ☘️ and prospering worldwide. The irish culture and values are alive and well. 😌

Everyone “welcomed him home”
