The building walls in Dwarka were diamond studded. Duringnight, when the moon light falls on these diamonds it looked likecentral stick in flowers which has the pollen in it. The Dwarakaisland is surrounded by water, in which there were corals/pearls,which are red in colour and they glittered like bloomed lotuswhen moonlight shed on them. Dwaraka is like a lotus flower inwhich there were buildings studded with diamonds in the centre
The reason why Dwaraka is glittering means Sri Krishna's love
towards Mahalakshmi, who resides in lotus. Hence Sri Krishna has built lotus like Dwaraka for Sri Rukmini to reside"
