Description:
Originally the Fierdsvain were independent merchant cities, their merchant ships plying the far distant coasts of Al-Andalus, Everwood and Neumare and bringing back great riches and exotic luxuries. With the rising threat from the sorrounding tribes, the Fierdsvain cities were forced to turn to the Vanskerry, raiders of unknown origin hailing from the sea. The merchant princes promised to crown the Vanskerry leader as their king if he'd beat back the tribes threatning to destroy their cities, ever since then, the Confederacy is ruled by the Vanskerry house of Valdis.
