BMW M3

Art work 030 captures the spirit and essence of BMW's Motorsport legend - The BMW M3. The first M3 was based upon the e30 3 series coupe and was developed by BMW's in-house Motorsport division and dominated touring car racing in the late 80's. The production car was built from 1986-91 during which time approximately 18,000 units were made. It carried over very few body panels from the regular coupe and featured box-flared wheel arches, deep bumpers which gave it a menacing and sporty appearance. This sketch focuses on the rare Sport Evolution model which featured a deeper front spoiler with adjustable splitter, larger wheels and more powerful 235bhp engine.
