UPDATE…
Even though Adric was able to take the pacifier he’s still not fully into it and wants to cluster feed constantly even when he’s already full. I did some research and it turns out this is completely normal for babies between 3 to 8 weeks. They often cluster feed a lot during the evening witching hours and it usually improves as they get older.

So for now the plan is to keep trying the pacifier while still letting him cluster feed and we’ll see how things look after week 8. I’m also thinking about trying a different pacifier even though I really like the ones I’m using now they’re lightweight, soft, BPA free, and designed for breastfed babies age 0 to 3 months.

Even as a third time mom, I’m still learning and I always remind myself that every baby is different. Alita never took pacifiers but Zalec did!
