Fender Flea Signature Jazz Bass RoadWorn MIM - a short demo

A brief demo of the sounds of the Fender Flea Signature Road Worn Jazz Bass (Made in Mexico)

The bass was recorded via PreSonus Studio 68c card directly into the OBS software without any effects, equalization, compression, normalization or postprocessing. This is the most clean sound I was able to get directly from the instrument.

Technical details and comments:
The combination of the alder body (nitrocellulose lacquer, faded pink shell) with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard makes the sound punchy, well articulated, and rich in harmonics.

The pure vintage 64 J-bass single coils sound amazing to my ear and can be well combined into various sounds, especially due to the separate tone controls. After shielding and grounding the pickup and control cavities the single coil hum is surprisingly low when soloing the singles.

This is a high-class instrument from my point of view. Really fun to play!

The only con from my point of view is a poorly accessible truss rod.

The factory strings were replaced with Gallistrings 045-105 Nickels.
