let's talk about revisions today!!

developmental editing is one of my favourite stages of the writing process. i just love seeing the story come together, patching up various wounds that occurred during the drafting process, and generally nudging my novels and short stories toward their final form. i am not one for routines—every project is truly different—but i find myself loosely following these ten important steps each time I revise, so I figured I'd share them with you today!

as i mentioned in the video, every writer and story is different and this may or may not work for your process—and that is totally okay.
