Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders visited his alma mater to speak to a crowd of over 1,800 UChicago students and community members on Monday, September 28, 2015.

This event is part of the IOP's Road to 2016 series, a variety of events, encompassing all of the IOP's program areas, that are focused on the campaign for the White House. As a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, the University of Chicago does not support or oppose any candidate for political office and the IOP is providing an equal opportunity for all presidential candidates to participate in this series.
