How to: replace door handle, Toyota Yaris

In this 90 second video I'm going to show You, How to replace door handle on Toyota Yaris (Echo, Vitz) 99-05. Whole replace take about 30 minutes and it can be done with little experience.

To do this job You're going to need:

Cross-head screwdriver (Flat-head screwdriver - optional)
Ratchet with 10mm socket or
10mm Wrench
Plastic trim removal tool (not necessary) https://ebay.to/3cOxOcJ

First, we have to remove three plastic pins (3 door version only have 2 plastic pins) and two screws. Disconnect electric wire from windows controler, or remove window handle (video soon). Door trim is holding by 7 clips. You can unplug these by hand, trim removal, or Flat-head screwdriver. Be careful not to scratch door. Behind trim should by plastic cover, mine is already deleted. You can safely cut-out glued part with hobby knife and later put it back. BEFORE unscrewing two bolts, You should unplug door opening and locking mechanism, shown in video. With door handle out from vehicle, you can replace Cylindrical lock, or repair it, if it doesn't return to original-closed position.
