Stephen Bishop: Separate Lives (Academy Awards, 1986)

Описание к видео Stephen Bishop: Separate Lives (Academy Awards, 1986)

Stephen Bishop performing his Oscar-nominated song “Separate Lives,” live at the 58th Academy Awards in 1986.

A note from Stephen on this video:
Looking back on this performance, I was very nervous at the time. It was a live performance and emotional, and that’s what I have always wanted this song to be. It has a different meaning to me now, almost 40 years later. Karen and I are still friends and stay in touch. She was part of the inspiration for this song, but not entirely. I hope this song helped people get through their own breakups. Also….I still have the oversized glasses and the suit. 😄💙🎶
