It’s been a long, long time coming! But today, the Royal Enfield Meteor is out and on sale. Shumi got a chance to take it for a spin and answer the question you know you want to ask. No, not whether it vibrates or not, but whether the Meteor is as good a 350 as the Interceptor is as a 650. Has Royal Enfield done an incremental upgrade to its 350cc platform? The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been launched in three variants. The base model, Fireball, is priced at Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-Chennai). Add metallic paint and a backrest and you get the Stellar, the middle model, at Rs 1.81 lakh. And the top model is called the Supernova which adds dual-tone paint and a screen, Rs 1.91 lakh.
