It's been a while since I played this. First starting off with Story mode playing as Suzaku Ryu...or that "4KidsTV name", Rick Wheeler as some of you from America know him as...ugh. I'm from America but I'm NOT calling him that so know from this point on he's Ryu, a MUCH better name in my opinion.

Ryu makes his debut into the F-Zero series in this game and the Anime of the same name as this game. He is a detective of a past timeline forced into this timeline along with his nemesis, Zoda. He has been chasing Zoda 150 years now and is determined to stop him. You'll know more of him in the Anime.

His vehicle. the Dragon Bird, has a grip rating of B but due to his body and weight being heavy, his vehicle doesn't turn quite as well so beware.

Ryu has an alternate true path gained by replaying his 4th story mission when having enough money to unlock the 5th and final mission. I don't know how much you need but as you can see in the video, I had enough after beating the X mission once.

By the way, I didn't know this at the time of this play-through but this game is a reboot of the F-Zero story that was seen in F-Zero GX. That explains why Black Shadow's personality is different in this game. He is taken more seriously compared to that GX version of him.

I definitely see myself making an edited version of this in the future but for now these will be placeholders until then.

Going by the F-Zero wiki, this game is considered a reboot of the F-Zero series. I didn't know this until now! That DOES explain why certain characters, like Black Shadow for example, are much different personality wise from the X and GX story.
