The height of the falls is about 95 ft and it is the widest fall in India, width of about 1000 ft during the monsoon season, and DUE TO ITS SHAPE it is often called the "Niagara Falls of IndIA

Unfortunately the Video we captured is not in Monsoon, so the water flow is less.

If you are visiting the waterFalls then Do Not miss the Boat Ride, as Boat ride takes you very very close to the waterfalls, literally just few meters away), and thats an experience that you can never forget.

If you are lucky, one can also see the rainbow at the mouth of the waterfall.

if you from Vizag, the best and economic way to reach this waterfall is via Train, There are two trains from Vizag, a daily and another twice a week, VSKP KRDL EXP 18514 & VSKP JDB SPL 18551(Tuesday and saturday) respectively. The weekly train is the most convenient as there is a return train available the very next day in the evening. its an 8 hr journey .. from the stations you can walk or take an auto to udaipur junction where you can find private busses and jeeps to Chitrakoot waterfalls.
