The U-91 incident in turn 1 during the 2023 Hydrofest final at Lake Guntersville Alabama.
Soon after the boat landed and while still mostly obscured by water spray, the left sponson and skeg of the U-40 struck the aft starboard corner of the U-91shearing off a portion of the aft hull and the rudder. The U-40 also sustained damage. All drivers were able to walk away without assistance and appeared to be in good condition. Scary incident!
