THIS IS NOT VAN LIFE! Our trip that nearly didn't happen

We've been busy! But this trip nearly didn't happen. Why? Well the van has had set backs - and we just weren't ready. Then the Mercedes threw a wobbly with a gearbox sensor playing up and forcing it in to limp mode. So we were on Plan C when it came to this trip.

What was supposed to be a simple get away become more complicated. A dog, a ferry, 850 miles each way, and a small hatchback to do it in. This is NOT van life.

We're back on track (hopefully) and will be sharing more about what's been going on these last few weeks. Can't wait to share these things with you guys. It's all been good and exciting but we just haven't had the chance to tell you all about it.
