I love these little key fobs! They are a go to gift for friends or family, great stocking stuffers or even to sell. They are quick, use up scraps and very useful! Thank you for watching this video! If you make one of these, send me a photo on facebook, twitter or tag me on Insta!

Key Fob Instructions:

Cutting:

Cut a piece of fabric 3.5 x 10 inches
Cut a piece of medium stiffness interfacing 1.25 x 10 inches
Cut a piece of fusible fleece (or regular fleece interfacing) 1.25 x 10 inches

Prep

Iron Fabric in half lengthwise to create a crease
insert medium stiffness interfacing and place the fleece on top
iron up a slightly larger than a 1/4 inch up onto the interfacing and repeat on the other side.
Check the sizing against the 1.25 key fob hardware and press all the layers together.
Using pins or clips, clip the open side together

Sewing

Sew a stitch slightly smaller than a 1/8 of an inch using your presser foot as a guide to close the layers.
Repeat on the other edge of the fabric
Add another 2 stitches evenly spaced to create 4 lines of stitching down the key fob
Press well

Hardware

Using a piece of batting and needle nose pliers, close the hardware slightly to make it easier to attach to the fabric
Trim ends of fabric to create a clean edge
Insert fabric into hardware and using pliers and batting, close the hardware over the fabric strap.
Add the key ring that comes with the hardware and you are done!
