Devarayanadurga, commonly known as DD Hills, is a popular hill station located near Tumkur,
it is a perfect getaway for trekking, enjoying panoramic views, and experiencing peace amidst nature. It’s just 75 km from Bengaluru, & 15 km from Tumkur, making it an ideal one-day trip destination.

The name "Devarayanadurga" translates to "Fort of the God", it was Earlier known as "Kari Giri" later it was named after Mysore king "Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar", who fortified the area.

These rocky hills stand at an altitude of around 1,200 meters, and height of 3,940 feet from sea level, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for trekking and nature enthusiasts.

At top of the hill, you'll find the famous Yoganarasimha Temple and at foot hill Bhoganarasimha Temple, dedicated to Lord Narasimha,

it has around 600 steps from foot hill and 250 steps from mid hill, The hills are surrounded by natural beauty, including dense forests, small streams, and scenic landscapes.

the Namada Chilume, a natural spring associated with Hindu mythology, is another must-visit spot near DD Hills. The location is also home to diverse flora and fauna, making it a paradise for nature photographers.
