If you want the protection of a slim hard shell folio along with 6 ft of drop protection and an excellent magnetic closure for your iPhone Xs Max, you might want to check out the Diamond Cut Folio Hardshell by Uunique London. This case doesn’t offer any card carrying ability, but it is quite slim and snaps shut securely with a nice strong magnet. This is not a genuine leather case—the material is a PU leather which has a Saffiano leather texture imprinted on it—but it has a stylish appearance and has a good grip in the hand.

Pros:

Excellent magnetic closure system—magnet is built into the sides of the folio, so no need for a bulky foldover latch.

Slim form factor

Pleasant hand feel. Faux Saffiano leather texture gives it a good grip.

Folio cover folds back out of the way and attaches via magnets to the back of the case.

Very slim and secure

Cons:
Not real leather.

No card storage.

Slightly odd smell from the PU leather which should hopefully fade with time.
