Bhagalpur Bridge Collapse: Govt Showcauses Construction Company For Bridge Collapse

An under-construction bridge collapsed in Bihar's Bhagalpur on Sunday, June 4. The visuals were caught on camera and showed two parts of the bridge collapsing one after another. So far, no casualties have been reported. The Aguwani Sultanganj Ganga bridge was being constructed in Bihar's Khagaria at a cost of Rs 1,717 crore.

The collapse took place at around 6 pm on Sunday. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has ordered a probe into the incident and has asked for the identification of those responsible for the collapse. A report has been sought from the 'Pul Nirman Nigam
