You asked and so we've answered - we've finally managed to compare the Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S against the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S + TC-2.0x

We were looking for sharpness, speed of focusing and overall convenience, and the answer isn't as easy as you'd think...

We shot this in a live field environment, so although they aren't lab tests they do give an accurate idea of how the equipment would perform in real-world situations.
