Which do you need?

If you're confused by the terms isotonic, hypertonic and hypotonic then you're not alone. In this episode of sports nutrition made simple we go through these terms and how they relate to sports drinks, and how they might impact you as an athlete. Whether you're a triathlete, runner, cyclist or swimmer (or participate in any other sport, really!), it's important to know the difference between the drinks.

They are all better at different things and this might influence your choice. For example, one of these is better than the others at providing you with calories and carbohydrates, while the other is best for maintaining your hydration.

These nutrition tips for triathletes should help you to manage your nutrition better, whether that's during training or during something like an ironman triathlon.
