This weekend (November 9-10th 2019) we had another show at my barn and I finally got to compete again! It's been so long now, but thankfully we've been able to train more the past months so we felt very prepared and ready!

Cara jumped her heart out like always. On Saturday we had the last fence in the jumpoff down but a good round, and in the 1.20m we won the class with a fast double clear round which was amazing!!
On Sunday we ended up with just jumping 1.20m. Cara felt a little stiff and I didn't ride my best so the first half of our round was rather chaotic and she saved my butt multiple times. The last 5 fences I managed to ride better and I'm very happy with the last part of our round.
But since she felt a little stiff and I didn't ride 100% well, I decided to withdraw from our first 1.30m that we were signed up for. Cara is such a brave and honest horse and I know she would've tried her best in the 1.30m but it would be the first time for both of us and I wouldn't want to risk her getting hurt or scared because I made a mistake (I made a lot in the 1.20m xD) so we will train a little more and try again next time we're feeling a little better. I wish I had signed up for the 1.30m on Saturday instead, then I think we would've rocked it!

Otherwise, I think I summed everything up in the video!
