Hesitant Prospect Main Menu Theme - The Long Dark (Crossroads Elegy by Cris Velasco) + Timelapse

This was the old menu and music for The Long Dark. A lot of people missed it and requested footage for nostalgia reasons, so here we are. I have repeated it twice, once with original background and one with a x15 speed timelapse background.


The background was added with the addition of Ash Canyon, released December 7th 2020 and was removed when Episode 4 was released on October 6th 2021. See www.hinterlandgames.com for details.
The music itself had been the main theme music since the release of Episode 3 on October 22nd 2019.


While the official soundtrack for The Long Dark does not specify which artist made the music, the game credits specify that Cris Velasco made story related music and Sascha Dikiciyan made survival music. Cris also has this music available on his homepage: http://crisvelasco.com/
