You will need:
chunky yarn of desired color (about 50g)
5.5 mm crochet hook
scissors
yarn needle

Finished project measures approximately:
7" from top of heart to bottom of heart by 7" wide by 1.75" deep

Round 1:
ch16, 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 6 ch,
3sc in next ch, sc in next 6 ch, 2sc in last ch
turn your work to continue along the back of the ch (after knot)
sc in the same last ch, sc in next 5 ch,
sc2tog going through the next ch and 3rd ch along (skipping middle ch)
sc in next 6 ch, sl st into first sc worked on other side (32 sts)
