4K Halloween Hootenanny Timber Mountain Log Ride Copy-Free Day Backwards POV Knott's Berry Farm 2023

SPOILER ALERT: Having a few extra clips if needed while technically taking breaks from New POVs from this Theme Park until after Halloween*. One of them is the Backwards/Reverse POV that almost the entire ride faced this direction, I did these POVs before on some other rides like Electric Eel, Emperor, Journey to Atlantis, and Incredicoaster as I can remember, Tidal Twister either sends your forwards or backwards in two different directions so it doesn't count. Not only that, also a few extra Off-Ride shots of the mountain itself when in Boardwalk to Fiesta Village, extensive footage of leaking track & over first drop, as well as the only Animatronic visible from queue sightlines when logs passes over it as well as a closeup lift hill view. For those who are unfamiliar & Speaking of the POV compared to last year's, the Usual Entrance to Exit but added with some more Off-Ride shots than just the drop area, in-property lift hill, and station. A closeup view of the props especially the decorations, and most importantly Timing one of the specific logs in a double loading station since I also shoot the station for long periods of time. I asked for the back row prior to shooting the POV which is a reverse of asking front, once again Row Requests work for this ride, I knew Jaguar's assigned seats. Unlike the Calico Candy Mine Ride POV since this experience is Much Longer than this, I feel like keeping Both On-Ride Footages as a whole next to each other without cutting any segments whatsoever. Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the mysterious creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny.


Rustle up some sweet candy as you make your way through Ghost Town and Gold Mine Trail filled with friendly ghosts and neighborhood ghouls.

Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the mysterious creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny.

The ride’s interior features surprises as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper Band, the town’s Green Witch, and splash down Skull Mountain through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns. All set around an original song performed by Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.



It opens to the public originally on July 11th 1969.



The Timber Mountain Log Ride is a themed log flume water dark ride at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, United States. The ride is themed after the Knott's Calico Ghost Town. The ride is one of the oldest log flumes in the United States and is the most popular ride at Knott's Berry Farm. Moreover, the Timber Mountain Log Ride celebrated its 50th anniversary on July 11, 2019 with unique merchandise, 2 new animatronic figures and the addition of a soundtrack developed exclusively for the log ride by Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.

Originally known as the "Calico Log Ride" (considered groundbreaking in its time) it takes riders through a 330-foot long mountain with a theme of a 19th-century lumber camp. The ride is housed in an eight-story building that contains 24,000 gallons of water and finishes in a 42-foot free fall.

The ride features 24 animal animatronic and 39 human figure animatronic figures. The ride's forest scenes (2nd and 4th) scenes feature a distinctive pine cone smell, giving riders the experience of an authentic forest setting.

The original concept of the Timber Mountain Log Ride was not a log flume, but rather a roller coaster which appeared to float in a trough. However, after discussions with Arrow Development co-founders Ed Morgan and Karl Bacon, the ride's designer Bud Hurlbut chose to use a log flume ride system.
