Critiquing the Metroid Prime Trilogy

Why does my hand hurt when I put it on the burner

Metroid Prime is pretty clearly not made for me, and that's fine! For the first time since the channel's inception I shut myself up for a second to think about other perspectives on a beloved series I wasn't gelling with. Ultimately, however, the like/dislike ratio's gonna be like 10% or more, I mean did you see that Dishonored video? I basically sucked the series off and still pissed off every melvin in a 300,000 yard radius. Wild

We sourced a GMT and KingK video in the section on Prime 3, and as a disclaimer, those videos easily have more relevance and appeal to any proper Metroid fan - none of what was said was said in hatred or bitterness, I just wanted to address the comparison to Halo in particular, because as a recurring line of thought it's worth dissecting.
