Unbelievable Upper & Lower Eyelid Lift | Before and After | Dr. David Stoker

We have a 51-year-old gentleman who wanted to look how he felt, young and refreshed. He had excess skin above the eyes and puffy under-eyes, giving him a tired more aged appearance. What I did was an upper and lower blepharoplasty. The upper eyelid surgery is removing a big strip of skin hidden in the crease above the eye and periorbital fat and some of the muscle there so that it would lay down smoothly.
Secondly, I did a lower eyelid operation called a transconjunctival blepharoplasty, which means that I everted his lower eyelid. From behind the eyelid, I make a tiny incision, and that little incision allows me to tease out the fat that was bulging forward. Notice how much more light is getting into his eyes. He looks so much more rested and youthful. I'm proud of this result and happy for the patient.
