Did you know that some residents of Nha Trang, wanting to cool off the summer heat, think first about a trip to Da Lat? It is a mountainous town, often shrouded in fog, with a suitable temperature. That's why Dalat is famous for its wide variety of flowers, vegetables and fruit from its surrounding farmlands.
It is winter now and the city is dry and sunny. So why not take a walk along its hilly, green, in places Europeanized streets surrounded by pine trees (in the tropics!), breathing cool mountain air.

Da Lat's specific sights are pine woods and twisting roads full of marigold and mimosa blossom in the winter. Residents and tourists are said that Da Lat has all four seasons in one day: the morning is the spring, the noon is the summer, from the afternoon to the evening is the autumn and from the night to the sunrise is the winter.
Da Lat is also known as an area for scientific research in the fields of biotechnology and the only city in Vietnam researching nuclear physics."
