1914 Morgan V-twin - walk around, start up & run

Описание к видео 1914 Morgan V-twin - walk around, start up & run

1914 Morgan V-twin walk around, start up and run at Leonardslee Gardens, which is the halfway point of the Sunbeam Motor Cycle Club’s 2024 Pioneer Run.

Engine in this machine is a 964cc V-twin cylinder.

The 1914 Morgan V-Twin is an iconic three-wheeler, known for its lightweight design and impressive performance. Powered by a J.A.P. (or Peugeot) V-twin engine, typically around 1000cc, it produced 8-11 horsepower. With its steel tube chassis and open body style, it weighed just 300-350 kg, making it nimble and fast for its time. Its innovative sliding pillar front suspension and two-speed transmission added to its racing success. Affordable and classified as a motorcycle, it offered a thrilling alternative to four-wheeled cars, paving the way for Morgan’s legacy in motorsport.

Location for this video is Leonardslee Garden, Lower Beeding, Horsham, England, UK.
