Power Outage: Jos Phone Charging Booth Operator Celebrates As Patronage Soars

A mobile phone charging operator in Anguwan Rogo community of Jos North local government area of Plateau state, has told Trust TV that the current power blackout being experienced in the country has boosted his phone recharge business.

Presently, most of the states in Northern Nigeria are experiencing blackouts following the tripping of 330KV circuit transmission lines between Makurdi in Benue and Enugu states, hence the need for residents to turn to public phone charging operators to power their mobiles.
