The Cybercrime reporting portal is an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under the National Mission for the safety of women to facilitate victims/complainants to report cybercrime complaints online.
Purpose of the portal
At present this portal caters to complaints pertaining to online Child Pornography (CP)/ Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or sexually explicit content such as Rape/Gang Rape (CP/RGR) content. If you want to report something other than Cybercrime cases or in case of an emergency please contact your local police by dialling 100.

Option for anonymous reporting of CP/RGR content has been provided on this portal as per the direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court under the matter of Suo Motu Writ Petition no.3/2015.
"As reported by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), the total number of child pornography/rape and gang rape complaints lodged in the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) from 01.03.2020 to 18.09.2020 is 13,244," Irani said.
