In this episode of MadRasana Duet, we feature Vaibhav Ramani and Rakshita Ramesh presenting the Ragam Desh.

Colours of Desh:

This medley attempts to showcase the beauty and versatility of Raga Desh, a raga that has been used very effectively across multiple genres of music in India. All the compositions presented here, entirely in Raga Desh and in multiple languages, span across the genres of classical, devotional and film music, demonstrating the pan-Indian appeal for this Raga. The artistes have tried to blend the different compositions together with their own improvisation and the two string instruments beautifully complement each other to create a soulful melody. Compositions presented here (in sequence) are:
