Police in Sironko district this morning foiled a planned walk to protest the detention of FDC president Dr Kizza Besigye who has been on remand at Nakasongola prison since last Thursday.
The protest had been planned by by the FDC Chairman for Sironko district, Polly Mugoya. FDC party members were scheduled to walk from sub county headquarters to Sironko district headquarters.
