Fastest Awestone Farming for Company of Champions - Dark Souls 2 SOTFS

Hello Drangleic's finest! Are you looking for another, faster method for obtaining your covenant rewards? This is the guide for you, which I also wrote up on the wiki as well.

These enemies, "Roaming Souls", have NOTHING in their loot table unless you are in the COC, and then ONLY drop Awestones. There are no better routes as far as I know, and this is much more enjoyable compared to the most common method mentioned online : farming Rhoy the Explorer in the Pit.

This run takes as little as 2:30, and generally grants 1-2 per loop.


This area can be reached as soon as you get your first Fragrant Branch of Yore, 13k souls from Malentia in Forest of the Fallen Giants, and a good hustle through the Woods and you're here.

The roll I did near the second enemy was intentional, as 2 curse pots are there during your first run. Rolling into them first avoids a curse!
