A listener nominated us for a recognition award for Achievement in Education for Sustainable Development from the Saskatchewan Regional Center for Expertise.

We also ended up receiving a special inaugural award called the "Energy Innovation Recognition Award for outstanding contributions to renewable energy advancement in Saskatchewan."

I was introduced by Dr. Roger Petry, a close friend of my former comedy partner Kevin. I haven't seen Roger a whole lot since we were teenagers. He was off to Cambridge as a Rhodes Scholar, while I was off to get a fine arts degree from the local university. I remember thinking, "I'll never cross paths with this guy again," but all it took was a podcast! It was very nice seeing him again. Dr. Petry is a very kind person.

The Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, fresh off a 45 minute sit down with King Charles, handed out the awards. Her Honour confided to me that she, too, drives electric. You'll have to listen to this week's episode to hear what else Her Honour said.

Unfortunately, Brian was out of town and unable to attend.
