ରାଜଧାନୀ ପୋଲିସର ଅପାରଗତା ପାଇଁ ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟ କଳଙ୍କିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ଜାତୀୟ ଓ ଅର୍ନ୍ତଜାତିକ ସ୍ତରରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଭାବମୂର୍ତ୍ତୀ ମଳିନ ପଡ଼ିଯାଇଛି । ନୂଆ ବିଜେପି ସରକାର ବା ମୋହନ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଛବି କଳା ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ରାଜଧାନୀର ଭରତପୁର ଥାନାରେ ଘଟିଥିବା ଜଘନ୍ୟ କାଣ୍ଡ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଫ୍ଲାଟରେ ପଶି ଗଣଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ କରିବା ଭଳି ଘଟଣା ପୋଲିସ ଉପରେ ଥିବା ଭରସାକୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦେଇଛି । ରାଜଧାନୀରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଏପରି ଘଟଣା କମିଶନରେଟ ପୋଲିସକୁ ଅପାରଗ ସଜାଇ ଦେଇଛି । ଏହି ସ୍ଥିତିରେ ମୋହନ ସରକାର ପୋଲିସ କମିଶନର ଓ ଡେପୁଟୀ କମିଶନରଙ୍କୁ ବଦଳି କରିଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏବେ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ନୂଆ କମିଶନର ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ସିଂହ । ଡିସିପି ପିନାକ ମିଶ୍ର ।
