Welcome to the second episode of Santiniketan Diaries, where I explore the food and culture of this beautiful town in West Bengal.
In this episode, I'll meet two different couples who chose alternative lifestyles from their regular life and pursued their passion for food. One couple came back from Australia and founded a cafe that serves continental cuisine, leaving their job of interior design. Another couple were respected West Bengal Goverment employees who became food anthropolgist and chose to establish a food pop-up that serves variations of fusion dishes from different corners of the world.
I also tried some street foods there and visited the famous Kasahara cafe, which is known for its artistic ambiance and delicious desserts.
