Over the centuries, there have been many theories and ideas about what the star of Bethlehem actually was. Some of these ideas are scientific, some are psychological, and some are simply barking mad. Moreover, the word ‘star’ is used in several contexts which don’t refer to a celestial phenomenon. It's about time that the star of Bethlehem was given the opportunity to have its own say about itself. This, therefore, is "The Song of the Star“. It is sung here by the Exeter Chamber Choir.
