• How to turn the “operating room” into a “laboratory” - instead of passing judgment, we analyze the facts, collect logs, plans, and data to understand what happened.
• The principles of an effective post-mortem meeting - we work exclusively with facts, cutting out opinions, and assume that everyone did their best with the resources available.
• The “5 Whys” method - I show you how to get to the heart of the problem instead of settling for superficial answers.
• Specifics instead of generalities - you will learn how to formulate conclusions (e.g., instead of “we need to test better,” we set a specific percentage of the budget for infrastructure) to realistically improve future projects.
