Bonkers Puget sound Chinook Fishing

This is a rare look into History and a really fishy Dude. I fish with my friend Boots a lot but he does not like cameras. Well today he said yes. Some say meat lining was born here in marine area 11. This Technique works with a short stout rod and letting your line out 10-20 ft then clipping a 4-6 lb weight on the line then bouncing bottom. Kind of a weird year here in the pugetsound.
Lots of chinook but not much opportunity.
Open/closed open/closed. I am very thankful for the days we had but feel the pain of so many that had trips planned and weekend opportunity taken away.

I’m headed shrimping then off to Brewster for Sockeye.

Should be a action packed next couple of weeks.
