About Sharmila:

As film critic, she completed Film Appreciation course from FTII Pune Film Institute. She has been a research scholar from National Film Archive of India. Sharmila has two documentary films to her credit, 'Bharati Devi: A Beautiful Heart' and 'Beyond Borders: 50 years of Meghe Dhaka Tara', which travelled many film festivals round the globe. She received many awards for her contribution in journalism.
