The sports athletes are not allowed to participate under the flag of Russia or Belarus.
Russian football clubs and national teams have been suspended from all competitions by FIFA and UEFA.
The Russian men's team will not play their FIFA 2022 World Cup play-off matches in March, and Spartak Moscow have been kicked out of the Europa League.
Formula 1 terminated it's contract with the Russian GP. Whereas, Haas terminated it's contract with their sponsors Uralkali and their driver Nikita Mazepin.
Nike, Sketchers, Adidas, EA SPORTS, Motor companies like Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Honda, BMW have left Russia.
The Russian economy has been destroyed and there is deep recession and large reconstruction costs for Ukraine.
