Two new species have recently formed within the TF2 universe - the Demoshark and Heavywhale.

They have now joined their brethren - the Spycrab, Tentaspy, Heavy Giraffe, Heavy Bear and The Odd Scout, among others.

To play the Demoshark, equip the Eyelander and Chargin' Targe. Lay dormant underwater, with the Eyelander's tip pointing out of the water. Kill everyone you see.

To play the Heavywhale, equip the KGB and a hat - if you have one. Play like the Demoshark, with your head bobbing out of the water occasionally. A microphone is good to have but isn't required, in order to make the Whale-like sounds, though, you'll need a microphone or a program like HLSS.
